Before you call, it is fair to know exactly what is being promised. Four things, each one about this service rather than about anybody else’s work.
No voicemail, no office hours
Any hour, any day: the line is answered. A burst pipe at 2am is the ordinary case for this trade, not the exception.
Nothing to pay for being connected
Using this service costs you nothing. No charge to call, none to be connected, and none for whatever quotes you collect. Only the work you hire is paid for, and you pay the contractor directly.
A licensed contractor who works locally
You are put through to an independent contractor who holds the license this trade and state require and who actually works in Springfield. Ask to see the license and the certificate of insurance before work starts — any contractor worth hiring expects the question.
A poor fit is fixed by one more call
If the contractor you were connected to does not show, does not call back, or simply is not the right fit, call this number again and ask to be connected to someone else. There is no limit on that and no charge for it.
What this page does not promise
To be plain: nothing here warrants or guarantees work performed by any contractor. They are independent, the agreement is yours with them, and the guarantee you can rely on is the one they put in writing.
